What Is a Mini Photo Shoot? I Like to Call Them “Limited Edition” Sessions!

You might hear the term mini photo shoot, but I like to call them limited edition sessions!

Why? Because you’re often getting the same variety of beautiful images in a shorter, set amount of time. They’re fun, efficient, and sometimes a little fast-paced, but I find they’re especially perfect for kids!

What makes these sessions special is that they’re often offered at unique locations, during different seasons, or with fun themes you won’t necessarily find in a regular session. They’re a great way to capture something a little different throughout the year.

They’re also a wonderful way to try out a new photographer, whether you’re new to the area or simply looking for someone new to work with. And let’s be honest, sometimes it’s an easier way to get your husband on board with family photos! With a set time and a shorter session, it feels manageable, and before you know it, you’re done.

Even though the sessions are shorter, the galleries I deliver typically offer an abundance of images to choose from.
